We are incredibly proud to share a major milestone in the Therapprove journey. At the recent Crossroads Spring 2024 Pitch Competition, hosted by The Mill, Therapprove was named a winner, securing a $10,000 investment from the Flywheel Fund.
The competition, which features some of the most innovative startups in the Midwest, focused on businesses poised to make a significant impact. For Therapprove, this win is a validation of our mission to eliminate the "wait-and-see" culture that often stalls pediatric care.
From the Press
The following excerpt from the official announcement by The Mill highlights the core problems Therapprove is solving for the 26 million families in the U.S. navigating developmental and mental health challenges:
Excerpt from The Mill:
"The winner of Crossroads Spring is a software-as-a-service platform that gives caregivers direct and clear access to pediatric therapists.
"We want to thank the Mill and Flywheel Fund for celebrating Therapprove as the Crossroads Spring 2024 winner—and more grateful still that they are truly celebrating our mission of timely and trustworthy delivery of therapy services for children who need them," expressed Tiffney Vivo, Founder & CEO of Therapprove. "The experience of the competition was exciting but the prospect of collaboration is even more energizing for a digital health startup like us."
Tiffney noted that more than 26 million families in the US have children with a developmental disability or mental health disorder, all requiring at least one type of therapy to reach their full potential. The average wait time for families from sending a referral for therapy to obtaining a response from an agency is intolerably long. Therapprove addresses many critical industry pain points. It improves children's outcomes, eliminates system inefficiencies, and reduces administrative burdens–making it a win-win proposition for all stakeholders in the Therapprove ecosystem and ultimately reducing the referral to response time to zero days.
For their all-in-one solution, Therapprove received a $10,000 investment from Flywheel Fund."

Why It Matters
The $10,000 investment from the Flywheel Fund will be directly channeled into enhancing our platform's ability to connect families with therapists in real-time. By automating the administrative hurdles that typically bog down the referral process, we are moving closer to our goal: a "win-win" ecosystem where therapists can focus on care and families can find help without the months-long wait times.
The Spring Finals were evaluated by a panel of industry leaders, including Jacob Schpok (Elevate Ventures), Angie Stocklin (Purdue University), and M Shane Bivens (ArcticRx). Their support signals a growing confidence in digital health solutions that prioritize the caregiver-provider relationship.
We were honored to share the stage with many talented entrepreneurs. Congratulations to our fellow winners and finalists who are all working to build a more innovative future.
